This March, our specialists — Dr. Kristiāns Alpe, Dr. Zangus Pīlaps, and Dr. Oļegs Ribakovs — attended one of the world’s premier orthopedic forums: the AAOS Annual Meeting in New Orleans, USA.
Throughout the congress, our traumatologists explored the latest breakthroughs in contemporary orthopedic medicine — modern minimally invasive surgical techniques, next-generation joint implants, and sports injury treatment protocols. Our specialists took part in hands-on workshops and expert discussions with colleagues from around the globe to bring these innovative technologies directly to patient care in Latvia.

A special highlight of the congress was a guest keynote address by legendary actor, athlete, and public figure Arnold Schwarzenegger. In his talk, he emphasized the vital role of regular physical activity in preserving joint health, supporting recovery, and maintaining lifelong motivation and freedom of movement.
